Getting at least 1 outfielder during the August waiver period is pretty much a no doubter. Should be interesting.

Again, remember Jay Bruce was an August pick up.

McCutcheon would be a similar type addition.

Clevinger 6 solid innings, Miller, Otero and Cimber finish up. Miller was throwing 94 and 95.
Clev and Carrasco and Kluber make a very solid playoff rotation but if Bauer were in there too it would be the best in the business. The 4 of them rate among the top 9 in ERA and plenty of other good stuff, too.

Well, if there is anything we have learned through the years it is that once the playoffs start it is a whole new ballgame. Our '95 Indians got dominated by a great pitching staff. The Mariners team that won 116 games did nothing.

If we get Bauer back healthy and Miller & Allen keep improving as they have, rounding back into form. I have to think we will be a tough out in a 5 or 7 game series. Give us as a chance as anybody.

Funny, I worry about Houston more in a playoff series than I do Boston, yet they are heading in opposite directions. But that's my gut feeling. Houston's pitching staff is pretty scary in a series. Boston's does not keep me up at night. But anything can happen, we'll see.

Andre Knott just said since August 12th Yandy Diaz has hit 7 balls with exit velocities over 100 MPH. That is the most of any Indian player in that time frame.

I know we all want to see some of those line drives start getting up and over the fence but good to see him spraying hard hit line drives to all fields since his latest call up.
