I swear the Browns and the Indians have the same front office.

"We like the players we have" attitude dooms them to another year of unwatchable contests.

In decades of caring about bad Cleveland sports teams we are at a pretty low point.

Indians designated RHP Hector Rondon for assignment.

Rondon has a fractured elbow and is expected to miss five-to-seven months. The 22-year-old right-hander is considered an intriguing prospect, but he continues to battle injuries. The native of Venezuela had successful Tommy John surgery in 2010 and returned in September for a few token appearances on the farm prior to season's end. He may pique some team's interest on the waiver wire if they are inclined to be patient with his rehab.

Watching the Indians-Marlins WS game 7 on MLB now. Costas is talking about how much the win will mean for long-suffering Indians fans, how this will be the happiest b-day ever for Grover...

Twins Agree To Sign Josh Willingham
By Mike Axisa [December 13, 2011 at 5:43pm CST]
The Twins have agreed to sign Josh Willingham, reports ESPN's Jerry Crasnick (Twitter links). The multi-year contract is pending a physical.

Willingham, 33 in February, is a modified Type-A free agent. The Twins will not have to surrender a draft pick to sign him, but the Athletics will still receive two picks as compensation for the loss. One will be a supplemental first round pick, the other a pick one spot before Minnesota's second rounder.

JR, that station DSN folded up after a month. Levine and Shaw are not on the air. That article is from Nov, 2010.

In response to fan Q... RT @MarkShapiro: @Brownsfan1623 Willingham's bat a perfect fit but defensive fit was not good.

Complete BS from Shapiro unless they were looking for him to play exclusively at 1B which seems unlikely since Willingham has played like 3 games at 1st.

This is coming from the team that has played guys like Shelly Duncan and Ryan Garko as outfielders.

Honestly don't know why they are wasting time with free agency. The market is thin, the players available are going to get more than they are worth and are unlikely to accept a 1 or 2 year contract, which is all the Indians are likely to offer.

I have a pristine, unopened, and still in shrink wrap unopened network video summary of that game.

I also have personal recordings of same.

I've never watched, after I watched the real time game in 1997.

And to this point, do not see me going back to revisit.
