Re: GameTime!™
20135Olson took care of the 11th. This Estevez guy with the declining ERA [now at 7.64] returns for the Rockies to face Jackson, Zimmer and Almonte.
Re: GameTime!™
20136He's throwing 98 and 99 mph fast balls at Zimmer, and just struck him out on a 90 mph change. We can count on Guyer again here in the 11th to put one of the park.
Re: GameTime!™
20137Estevez proves he's only human, walks Guyer with 2 away, and Roberto Perez gets his chance to mirror Gomes' walk off blast.
no it's Gomes in to hit. Going for two walk offs in 2 days.

Re: GameTime!™
20138And while I go to work for another while, McAllister gives up a homer, Tyler Chatwood registers the 2nd save of his career, and first in 5 years.
Re: GameTime!™
20140Because the only teams in contention to keep us out of the playoffs are pretty feeble Kansas City and Minnesota, even a lousy road trip is unlikely to do serious harm to our ability to play in October. On the other hand, I sure would like to see the team playing much better.

20141Jay Bruce - OF - Indians
Jay Bruce is not in the Indians' lineup Thursday against the Rays.
Bruce was expected to arrive in Tampa at 4 PM ET on Thursday, but he must be running late as he's not listed on the lineup card. Look for him to make his Indians debut on Friday.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Outfielder Jay Bruce, acquired by the Indians on Wednesday night from the New York Mets, was not in Thursday night's starting lineup against the Rays at Tropicana Field.
When manager Terry Francona talked to reporters before Thursday's game, Bruce had yet to join the Indians, but a team spokesman said he was in Florida and expected to join the team before the game.
Francona said he wanted to talk to Bruce and expected to bat him fifth in the lineup on Friday night in the second game of this four-game series.
Bruce did join the Indians and was activated about 40 minutes before Thursday's first pitch at 7:10 p.m. Utility man Erik Gonzalez was optioned to Class AAA Columbus. To clear a spot on the 40-man roster for Bruce, outfielder Daniel Robertson was designed for assignment earlier in the day.
