They had so much fun the last 2 innings, they decided to do it yet again!

Whatever you do, guys, keep it in the infield. Don't want to score any runs now.
You get paid whether you try or not. Plus, it's a hot day. Who wants to be out in the sun running bases?
Re: GameTime!™
19862So how does that help when they refuse to score any freakin' runs?Hillbilly wrote:If you're looking for a bright side, Salazar is having a very nice outing so far for Columbus today.
Re: GameTime!™
19863Again, Bauer allows himself to get upset because the umpire didn't call a pitch a strike. Just pitch! Don't try to be an umpire. Just thought of this, during spring training, let our pitchers call balls and strikes for a couple innings.
Re: GameTime!™
19864As soon as the team gets back from the All Star break, they'll hit the ground running. They will smack that last place team, Oakland, around.
What!!! The All Star break is over!!!! Somebody better tell these guys..... vacation is over.

Re: GameTime!™
19865And we have the Giants next. Even though they have a terrible record, we can't seem to beat NL teams this year.So I predict 3 more losses.
Re: GameTime!™
19866Down 3-1 so far in the 4th inning. I'm not staying up to see the end of this one! It's really a bummer that I can't enjoy the Indians any more
Re: GameTime!™
19867Well I don't know about anybody else but I thoroughly enjoyed tonight's win! Good pitching and defense, an old fashioned win.
Re: GameTime!™
19868Umpiring question.
Just saw a highlight of Guyer's sacrifice in the sixth. Nice bunt....no man's land.
The first baseman fielded the bunt but had to throw over Guyer who ran the entire way to first base on the infield grass. He could have been called out for not running in the running lane. Do major league umpires call that anymore?

Re: GameTime!™
19869It has been a long time since I've seen it called. I've seen a few times where it should have been. Not sure why they don't call it as much as they should.
Re: GameTime!™
19870I think if the throw actually hits the runner, they would call him out. Seems like a bad throw that doesn't hit the runner, who is not in the running lane, is a no harm..no foul
Re: GameTime!™
19871Just watched Urshela's play on the bunt.....holy crap that was awesome.
Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everyone you meet.
Re: GameTime!™
19872I enjoyed it more when I turned it on again later.Hillbilly wrote:Well I don't know about anybody else but I thoroughly enjoyed tonight's win! Good pitching and defense, an old fashioned win.
(But if it weren't for their pitcher's misplay, we might not have enjoyed it at all!)
Re: GameTime!™
19874I love them, Gaylord! Works out well for those few of us on Mountain or Pacific Time.
