Someone on Twitter took the time to overlay Progressive Field on all of Edwin Encarnacion's home runs since 2008.
Some very long shots could put the scoreboard in jeopady

think that was a mlb.com or espn.com graph that someone copied.

All of Edwin Encarnacion's HRs since 2008 overlaid at Progressive Field.
I think the scoreboard is safe, but there will be a lot of souvenirs on the home run porch and the plaza outside the park!

Some of those will also now hit the wall. I predict his homers "drop" into the 30s now, but batting average goes up. Be aware, Toronto is a launching pad for homers.
OK here's a blurb from last June 10 on EE - check out his crappy numbers:
Edwin Encarnacion - DH - Blue Jays
Encarnacion has not been able to match his stellar stats from the last two years but Blue Jays fans and his fantasy owners alike are in love with him after this game. His .233/.310/.450 pales in comparison to last year's .277/.372/.557 but Encarnacion gave us hope tonight that he could be snapping out of his funk.
Now check this one out:
Edwin Encarnacion - DH - Blue Jays
Edwin Encarnacion (oblique) declared himself ready for Opening Day.
Encarnacion has been held out of Grapefruit League action all spring -- first because of dental work and then because of a strained oblique -- but he took six at-bats in a minor league game Thursday and reported feeling "100 percent" healthy.
OK, I point this out because people forget about this. This guy had NO spring training last year. None. So he got off to a really slow start. Yes, those 2016 stats include 2 CRAP months due to injury.
He hit .250 in April and .232 in May. Then he toooook off!!!!

When I was looking at Encarnacion's splits a while back when the rumors started one thing that I remember sticking out to me was how much better he hit when playing 1st base as opposed to DH.
He hit something like 35 points higher when playing the field. He also had 2 more homers despite like 30 fewer at bats.
Some guys just stay more involved and keep their concentration better when playing the field.
I know the Indians are really into analytics so I'm sure Tito will be aware and hopefully keep him out at 1st far more often.

Thanks Civ. My point is this. Because of the total miss of spring training and inevitable slow start EE had a season that could be described as an off one. Lol!

It's hard for me to get used to thinking of "EE" as something different than the Skankees! (Evil Empire)

Indians agree with Edwin Encarnacion on three-year deal
Encarnacion is one of the game's most consistent power hitters. Over the past five seasons, only Chris Davis (197) has hit more home runs than Encarnacion's 193, And over that same span, only Miguel Cabrera (569) has more RBI than Encarnacion's 550.
Granted Rogers Centre in Toronto is a great park for hitters, but according to ESPN's Park Factors, Cleveland's Progressive Field was even more conducive to offense in 2016 -- in both scoring (it ranked No. 3 overall at +20.7% above average) and in home runs (No. 5 at +16.8%).

The Indians have added over 100 full season ticket accounts in less than 24 hours.

They'll give those tickets away to cub fans so they can root against the indians this year.
