I just stepped outside for a bit, and it's a lot nicer day now than it was an hour ago. Still windy, but not real strong, and only partly cloudy sky. STO is still showing golf....

Thanks for posting the radar JR

Seems to me that last little bit has to go through, then good to go.

The key is, I guess, how much the field was trashed.

I'm only 6 miles east of the ballpark, and it's fine here.

Looks like when it starts to rain here again, it will be clear downtown, then they have a big window of dry weather.

Asdrubal is the RBI machine; Brantley's getting on base ahead of him; Hafner's having a good start. We can expect Choo and Santana to add more to the offense. The rest of the lineup may or may not add much. LaPorta's AVG is about the same as 2010 but to date his OBP and SLG are much better. Grady can be a useful addition since the current LF's are doing little.

Rain delay is approaching two hours.

Jeremy Guthrie has ERA of 0.64 in his first two starts. He's settled in to be an OK No. 3 grade starter. Too bad it look him so long to fit in. Proof of the futility of signing draft choices to major league contracts. If he had normal period controlling his contract, he would've still been with the Tribe when he learned how to pitch.

BARON: This wasn't bad. STO has rejoined the game, field is uncovered, we should be good to go soon.
