Yup, and he bobbled 2 out of 4 attempts, looked awful out there.

Also Canzler demonstrated that he was not a good outfielder.
Thank Goodness Gomez looked good.

No game today. Tigers lose Cabrera for a couple weeks; raise ST record to 13-2, none of which count.

Ubaldo not crossing 90 mph on his fastball this spring has to be a real concern. How concerned is the coaching staff and media at this point?
-- Dan V., Lakewood, Ohio

First off, that's not entirely accurate. In his first outing of the spring, Jimenez was sitting at 94-96 mph, according to a scout I spoke with the following day. The right-hander's velocity has dropped in the outings since then, though, and that is indeed concerning. I'd again warn against any knee-jerk reactions until seeing how things play out in the season's first half.

Todays game vs San Francisco will be televised on MLB TV for those of you with cable.

Tune in and see (for Seagull and Civ) if Hu will play first.

It's been the policy of the indians and probably the other teams to bring up a young non-roster player for a game or two. The kids appreciate the major league lunch money stipend.

Hu's turn was Monday and because he was in the Dodger system, probably was able to give a little scouting report on his former teammates.

1-0 SF over Tribe after 3 innings.

My wife and I decided to call Donna today since it was her husbands birthday. I want to report to the Forum that she sounded great, was very upbeat and said to say HI to all the Forum Members.

It was great talking to her.

Same as when I talked with her at the end of February.

Glad to hear it. I've been thinking of trying find Tyler Minges to send her a note.
