Miller didn't have his best stuff, nor did Cody, yet we still won! What does that tell us?

Pretty happy that they have some days off now so Cody and Miller will be fully recovered. What a trade for Miller!!!

Team of Destiny !?!?!

I thought there were three critical plays in the game.

The first was Naquin's 2-run single.

The second was Crisp's 2-run homer.

The third, and most important in my opinion, was Jose Ramirez's backhanded grab on that smash by Mookie Betts in the 8th inning. If that ball gets by Ramirez, Betts has a 1 out double down the left field line and Shaw who singled after Pedroia struck out would have been on third. As it was, Ramirez spun and forced Shaw out at second. Ortiz walked and Hanley Ramirez ripped a base hit to left driving home Betts making it a 4-3 ball game.

Another productive day at the plate. Jose singled, walked and scored twice. Baez, Donaldson, and Jose lead all batters in these series games with .500 averages.

That was Jose's third highlight grab on the night. Another important move by Francona when he relieved Uribe with Ramirez.
