I read this folder most every day, but don't comment since I don't watch or listen to any of the games. So I don't have anything to add, or agree/disagree with.

I see nobody snapped up Nick Weglarz after he was DFA. Outrighted to Akron.

I checked once on Weglarz and then I, too, decided not to bother to pick up his option. Aeros did just fine without him, too.

Unfortunately Corey Kluber is looking more like the Corey Kluber of 2011. He faced 16 batters today and retired 5, allowed 7 hits, 4 walks, which netted out to 7 runs.

Fortunately, Giovanny Urshela, whiz with the glove who had a good start at the plate for Carolina, returns today after missing three weeks. Mudcats win 10-6. Will Roberts mediore, 3 runs in innings. . Ronny rodriguez makes his 15th error but also his 9th double and 3 RBI. Holt single and triple.

Tony Wolters 2 hits edges up to 199 (he's 269 in May after 130 in April) and his 3rd steal in 3 days after being 0/4 in baserunning for the season. Nice progress for 19 year old playing in a league for 22 year olds.

Jesus Aguillar singles, draws 2 walks. His power all came in a one week, otherwise he's been a steady 300 hitter who is walking a little more and striking out a little less than last season; and better in May than April: April 21/8; May 18/9.

Jake Lowery's terrible May continues; 0-4, a walk and 2 K.

Fortunately, good pitching by Shawn Morimando, 1 hit shutout for 5 innings. Captains win it 2-1.
Lindor hitless. Jeff Johnson closes the game out; his era is still nearly 6 due to some early season really really bad nights; but overall 28K in 18 innings; one run on 2 hits 11K 1BB in his last 7 1/3.

Notes: Outfielder Trevor Crowe (right oblique) is expected to join the Clippers at some point early in the upcoming 12-game road swing through Syracuse, Buffalo and Rochester. His activation from the disabled list will require a roster move. ... Highly regarded reliever Chen-Chang Lee (right elbow) isn't expected to pitch again this season. He is a Tommy John surgery candidate. ... The Clippers entered tonight's game with 12 stolen bases, which is last in the International League. The franchise low for a season is 47 set by the 1987 team. Otis Nixon stole 94 by himself for the ''83 Clippers.

From the dispatch

I read too, Civ. And was actually planning on posting more this year to help out. But after posting a couple articles at the beginning of the year I slid back into being lazy.
