Chisenhall just added a triple to his two singles and home run. This is a tough park to hit a double in. Suddenly his .290 tops Ramirez' 289 average.

Chisenhall with a triple. 4th hit.
OK, maybe he gets the cup first. Is this the same guy?
Hey HB - I am taking credit for giving the kiss of life to Chisenhall. I bashed him mercilessly earlier this season. Couldn't figure why they kept him around. Oooops!

Only 8 innings for Tomlin. Zach McAllister found his glove in a dusty cupboard and worked the ninth.
If the Tigers didn't have to play the Tribe, they'd be ahead of us. But they're not so lucky.

Ok Carlos Santana, no cup for you. If you are using something, it's damn poor quality. Next!

TFIR, dunno if you saw it, but I took another shot at Uribe before the game today in the Minors folder.

We go into Atlanta with a 9 game win streak. We should leave with a 12 game win streak. Bauer should get his first No Hitter on Monday.

So let me get this straight....You're telling me 4 guys from the Cleveland Indians...the Cleveland Indians hit HRs in the same inning against Justin Verlander? Nah...

Hey, we're fans and we STILL don't believe it.
Hence, get in line and start peeing.
But seriously, lots of things have to go right for a team to play this well.
IMO, and just IMO since I know many don't believe in this kind of thing, the new additions brought a certain attitude that helped the kids that were here. Of course Napoli, Davis and now even Uribe had to actually produce too and they have. And it becomes contagious (as Chisenhall said in an article today).
You add that to a starting pitching staff that is young and coming into its own at the same time as the offensive boost, and you have something.

Starting pitching is really formidable. All 5 are among the top 15-20 in the AL.
Probably the worst of them is 9-1.

To continue for a second the influence of the veteran guys.
They did a short piece on the Tribe and flashed the fact that Napoli has played 51 postseason games. Uribe 45 postseason games.
Guest analyst Michael Morse spoke glowingly of his former teammate Napoli. Talked about how he had the Texas and Boston (beards) clubhouses really having fun with winning.
So, if no one else does, I give Antonetti credit for the homework they did on the new/old guys. And with minimal commitment.

So is Bauer going to do some more impressions tonight, at the plate?

First time up he's going to do his best Joe Sewell impression. Sacrifice bunt. Giminez on 1st with no outs.

Ok, Chisenhall with a 3 run homer.
Loufla - our badmouthing of Chisenhall continues to (evidently) pay dividends.
Go figure.
Huge though, because suddenly we have plenty of outfielders who can do the job.
Trades? Hard to mess with what is going on here.
If I had a wish list, I'd say go get a lockdown setup guy. And hard to see THAT messing with the chemistry.
