The Rays lineup today features six hitters in row batting 227 or lower; in fact 3 are hitting under 200.
Do they have a lot of injuries? Who are these guys?

Not kids; they range from age 26-28. A few have had some big league success: Logan Morrison, Corey Dickerson and Desmond Jennings, but not much this season.

Rays starting pitcher is their top prospect Blake Snell 23-year-old lefty. Spot start in April, 1 run and 2 hits in 5 innings, but that was against the woeful Yankees so may not mean a lot. Returned last week and lasted 3 1/3 vs Seattle, put 11 men on base, 5 scored, but only one run earned, so the ERA is 2.16 and WHIP 1.68.

Corey just took care of the over .221 part of order on 7 pitches in the first inning. He's been very up and down lately.
June 5: 6 2-hit shutout innings
June 10: complete game 3 hitter, 2 runs
June 15: 5 innings, 8 runs on 9 hits.

Napoli must be off the juice. All he can hit is singles now.

Uribe hits another homer. If I were opposing manager I'd ask for his bat and a cup of piss.

Rays have 4 outfielders on DL,but still an impressive game for Kluber.

Seagull and Hillbilly: re Uribe and the juice...........that shot to the cupless nuts released a whole lot of Testosterone in the system. Just a working hypothesis.

That's it, Lou.

Forgot about the shot to the nuts. On fire ever since.

Well we can surely count on Uribe hot streak ending and him doing absolutely nothing for the next 6 weeks.
