Bauer certainly still offers lots of promise. If he can join the Talented Three and the Overachieving Fifth, we wind up with one heck of a rotation.

Salazar is not pitching well at all, but he's ahead 2-1 in the 4th. Along with getting 11 outs, he's allowed 4 hits and walked 5. For all those baserunners the Astros have had, their run came on a solo homer.
Kipnis has an rbi single and Napoli his 7th homer

Well, only allowing 1 run in 5 innings and striking 10 is not exactly a bad outing, although since it took Danny 104 pitches I assume that's all for him. He came in leading the league in WHIP but put 10 men on base today. Houston 0-8 with RISP.

Tommy Hunter just entered an gave up the lead. Crockett will attempt to bail him out of further trouble, with 2 out and 2 on.

Kyle continues the fun by walking the first man he faces to load the bases. That brings the Tribe walk total to 8. And Zach McAllister gets a shot.

with 8 pitches for his 3 quick outs in the 7th, Doug Fister does not dent the Tribe pitch lead.

Zach puts us in a hole. Leadoff single by the always dangerous Luis Valbuena. Sac and K later, sub 200 hitting Preston Tucker drives in the go-ahead run. Now it's time for Brian Shaw. [he doesn't get enough work holding leads as our top setup man that he has to come in in the 7th inning when we're trailing?]

I'm glad you were posting today, CIV. I didn't realize it was a day game. Just turned it on about a half an hour ago. Napoli doubles, Santana triples, and we are tied!

Correa saved a run just now. 2 outs, and Gomes with a weak grounder leaves Santana stranded at 3rd

Baseball needs to come up with another way to break ties after 10 innings or so.

Walkoff homer for Houston. What a waste of effort for the Indians today!

My goodness, what would Francona do with 10 position players and 15 pitchers?
