For those that did not watch the game, the crucial walk that was given to Minnesota that started their only scoring with two out was delivered by the umpire, That pitch by Salazar was a strike but he squeezed us badly and called it a ball. Even the home announcers were surprised, They showed it a few times and it was a strike. Salazar was almost laughing but it screwed with his head in my opinion. Really rough break.

And he said so in the paper this morning. The umpire cannot miss a call like that, this game is important to both teams.

BUT bad calls are part of the game, and Salazar cannot let them get to him.

And sometimes you get calls you shouldn't.

That's the key, JR. You can't control what others do, you can only control how you react.

Michael Brantley (shoulder) is out of Wednesday's lineup against the Twins.

Brantley exited Tuesday's game because of the shoulder issue, and it will cost him Wednesday's contest as well. The team hasn't released an update beyond a left shoulder issue at this time, but the severity should be clarified at some point in the near future.

4-0 in the 4th inning.....and our offense seems to have gone into hiding.

Yup....I think the proverbial fork has been stuck.

Had 2 on with 1 out and couldn't do anything with them...

The offense, despite sporadic outbursts, ultimately doomed this team.

45-2 in games where they scored 4 or more runs. That says it all.

IMO, going into the season, it was a fine line as to whether the lineup would be enough. The injury to Gomes (from which he never got his offense back) and subpar season by Santana were killers.

Kipnis starts off with leadoff homer......can't complain about that.

Up 3-0 now, as Chiz drives in a pair.
He just stole a base, too!
