Well, Tito was pushing it trying to get a 2nd inning from Shaw after pitching last night. He didn't have it in the 10th.

good game however. Great small ball by the Jays got them their first 3 runs. Good to see Gomes with a solid game; hope he can keep it up.

Tito stayed with Bauer too long. I would have pulled him with two on and the MVP, Donaldson up.

Must have been me. Although I didn't put the KOD on them by posting how good they were playing lately, I thought it to myself and some of it may have leaked.

Josh Tomlin will start against the Tigers in the opener on Friday night after Corey Kluber was scratched because of a right hamstring strain. Detroit will counter with left-hander Kyle Lobstein, who was activated from the 60-day disabled list on Thursday. Tomlin has not fared well against the Tigers in his career, going 2-5 with a 7.67 ERA. This will be the right-hander's fifth start of the season.
our starting are accumulating more injuries in the last few weeks than they had all year. Carrasco, Anderson, Kluber with muscles and ligament issues and Danny was scratched for a days with illness. It's a good thing we're not in a pennant chase

I would have never believed that in early September the Tribe would put a big hurt on a spiraling Detroit team crashing to the basement.
