Baron ... LOL and Amen to your Council comments!

Kipnis is hitting .329 since the all star break, and that is only 3rd best on the team in that time span. Behind Brantley's .385 and Lindor's .362.

Brantley has .483 OBP and .631 SLG in that time too. For an OPS of, damn good.

Now that we have a 3 man offense, it's easy to get guys on base, still not quite so easy to score.
2 of the top 3 in our order got on base to start the first. But unfortunately that sets the table for our two multi-year-deal bad-hitting current or former catchers. And Santana takes care of the rally quickly with his 18th double play

And Anderson, a poor man's Tomlin, quickly allows a solo homer and the Brewers take the lead.

Brewer pitcher tries again to give the Tribes some runs. After two outs, Almonte singles and walks to the two at the bottom of the order load the bases. We all now how well the Indians do with 3 men on. Well he gave the wrong guy the opportunity and Kipnis brings them all in with a double; [his 35th, trails only Brantley, who trails only Jason in the batting race]

well that was a pleasant win.

Just think, we win 28 more games we may make the playoffs.
What that win means to me is that we can put Bauer back on the map.

Hey, we got 3 starters better than him so having him at the bottom of the rotation is not a bad thing at all. And IMO
there's a good chance he gains more consistency as he continues to mature.

The fact that the rotation is so set for next year enables the Antonetti to focus his offseason towards some offensive situations.
