Bauer who's been very susceptible to homers lately and Yankees whose offense is only homers is not a promising combination, but I like Trevor and maybe he'll rise to the challenge.

By the time stamp on your post, it looks like you wrote this after Bauer had already given up a couple homers.

I posted the comment before looking in at the game on my phone. It was my good luck charm. It didn't work.

@ESPNStatsInfo:

Corey Kluber throws 2nd straight CG- 1 hitter vs Twins

2 P have thrown back-to-back CG, allowing 3 H or fewer in 2015

Kluber & Scherzer

Both are on my fantasy team this year. But Max is off to a rough start tonight :(

Twins game 2-1 going to the bottom of the 8th. McCallister gives up a home run, 3-1. Twins get a runner to 3rd, one out and it is a sucide squeeze. Play at plate, not a chance. McCallister fields and doesn't throw to 1st. Why? Because he didn't know the rule about a batter runner running completely in fair territory. If he hits the runner in the back, the batter is out and the runner has to go back to 3rd. Most of high school games the defense gets this play more often than not. Btw, Manning doesn't know the full rule. He kept saying that at least we would get an out at 1st.

The continued success of Carrasco and Salazar is huge for this team going into the offseason. Another good one by Kluber as well.

Bauer obviously needs more consistency but has that potential at #4.

Great outing by Salazar last night!

Bauer needs a two week rest.

Or he needs to keep working his way through it.

Was just a few weeks ago that Bauer was giving Salazar a hard time on Twitter cause he didn't extend the streak of CG's for the SP's. Now look at them. Worm can turn quick.

Wow. I can't remember the last time Kluber has given up back to back home runs twice in one game....if it has ever happened.

When was the last time he gave up 4 home runs in a game period?

Was telling JR that on MLB Network they said that "The Klubot experienced a malfunction"

Kluber says 2 of the homers and therefore 4 of the runs were due to popups that just went over the short wall.

But I imagine he'd experience Fenway before and knew that he had to pitch differently for success there.

I see Salazar is now among league leaders in ERA, around 6th or thereabouts.
