apparently the Indians played a game this afternoon and scored 12 runs. That's more than they had totaled over about the last 2 weeks. That is an efficient use of the offense. Maybe we will win one game next week, too.

Hey I don't think anyone posting congratulations to Tito for really trying hard on Tuesday: he had everyone running and trying to the team look enthusiastic and aggressive. Nearly all the basestealers were successful but of course it didn't help in the long run since only once did the catcher's throw misses the fielder and allow a run to score. Someone would have had to actually drive a run in with a hit for the game to have reached extra innings and a delayed loss.
Anyway, A for effort to Francona.

Not exactly sure if a win counts when it's against Jeremy Guthrie. Considering his really really really bad start earlier this season, scoring 8 runs against him in 5 1/3 innings is really nothing to get excited about.
Kind of surprising that Lindor's home run total is now up to 5, equaled later in the game by Gomes. Urshela had his 3rd, Brantley his 8th and later got hit by a pitch, which is kind of a Royals habit. Tito bitched and was ejected.
Bourn with 4 hits; today's and yesterday's total of 7 hits about equaled his season total coming.
Kluber's average run support has now about doubled.

back to back complete games for the Tribe.
What is Tito going to do with all those bored relief pitchers? Maybe we ought to trade a few for another 2nd rate utility infielder to further boost the RDucks.

All things considered, I prefer winning, as we did today.

Kluber's average run support has now about doubled.
All in one game too.
Which is why those stats can be totally misleading.

Probably pissed the team off that Antonetti said/inferred that their season was virtually over when asked about the Murphy trade.
Hey, it is what it is.

Still not sure. but 3-1 end of 3.
Kipnis is 1-2. So he and Lindor scored for sure.

game is at the 2hr mark thru 8. nice. I hate pitchers that take 20 secs between pitches.
