Just no stopping the Indians offensive juggernaut...

The team really is becoming unwatchable. Offense can do nothing: six starters hitting under 250; 4 of them with OPS below 600. Starters have great stuff but can never be sure if they'll be unhittable or not.

Lindor starts us off right today!
Solo shot. Of course.

Santana with a bunt single to beat the shift. About time.

1st & 2nd w/ no outs and we can't score again. Down 3-1 in 2nd. I often wonder why I bother.

The nice smooth stroke we've come to expect from Brantley. 3 run majestic shot.

Anderson left in the 3rd inning after allowing 10 hits! Wow.

This is the kind of inning that makes watching this team unbearable:
Kipnis singled to center.
Lindor walked, Kipnis to second.
Brantley singled to left, Kipnis scored, Lindor to second, Lindor to third, Brantley to second on error by left fielder Davis.
2nd and 3rd none out: Murphy grounded out to first. 5 4
Santana intentionally walked. 5 4
loaded, one out: Gomes grounded into double play, shortstop to second to first, Santana out at second

Of course the Brewers stink, too. Total of 22 hits in 5 innings and the score is 5-4.

Allen made it interesting in the 9th but we held on.
Brantley got 4 hits and continues to be the only guy that can get a hit with RISP. I'm beginning to think we should not start him. Wait until we get runners on, bring him in as a pinch hitter, then leave him in.
I think the all star break did him good.

A couple years ago you told me you never watched, only listened on the radio. So I guess you have cable now?

It's my fault. I picked him up for my fantasy team. Same thing with Bauer's last start.

Good memory. I still don't watch; the statement was rhetorical. I should have said: the team is now unlistenable. Although doesn't sound grammatically correct.
