And it's another shutout!
I guess Kluber should have split his bonus for winning the Cy Young award with his teammates

They've scored 3 runs or less in almost half their games this season.

That's pretty bad.
Have to point to Antonetti because it would have been hard to point at this roster and be confident about the hitting.
Add in the injury to Brantley (doing pretty well but without power) the sucking of Santana, and the injury to Gomes and it became a huge problem.
Tough to see good pitching efforts continue to be wasted.
Was nice to see 28,000 + on Friday night and Saturday night. Not so much today (20k+)

Well, many people weren't there to watch the games Friday and Saturday. They had fireworks, dollar dogs, Sandy Alomar jerseys, and happy hour at the new bar - $2 beers from 5-7 PM

Yes, but those "fans" don't indicate satisfaction with the Indians' roster and performance this year. But as long as Dolan can make money, I guess he doesn't care?

I don't point to Dolan at all for this situation with the roster.
They need more hitting. It's not complicated.
Small, even tiny market teams can get hitters. They develop them, or they can trade for them.
Heck, they traded for Bauer. They traded for Carrasco. They traded for Kluber. They traded for Brantley. They traded for Santana. They traded for Gomes.
Trade for a hitter. Or better yet, develop one. Kipnis is the lone wolf pretty much. Murphy turning out to be a good, low cost, low years signing.
As for the hitters we already have, clearly we need way more production from Santana. From Bourn. From Moss. From Brantley even. From Gomes.
BTW, as you know, they flushed large money in the Swisher/Bourn signings. Have had much better luck with trades in the past.

Going into this season, it was a MAJOR prayer that Chisenhall and Ramirez were going to be any kind of answer. That's the entire left side of the infield.
So I'd like to see Antonetti be more aggressive with trades. It doesn't have to be for high priced guys. It can, and has, been done.

I would like to the Tribe shop around every prospect not named Zimmer and try to get a big bat. I mean a real star. I would even include Anderson. As good as he is, he is still just our 5th starter. And his value is at a high right now I would think.
Guess the question is, would a package of 4 prospects like Anderson, Sheffield, Hentges, Frazier or whoever bring a real star power hitter. I'm talking a guy like a Goldschmidt or Arenado or similar. I may be way off but I'd at least give it a shot.

I don't think any prospect not named Zimmer or Aiken will draw much interest.

To me Zimmer is pretty much a lock to be an every day contributor to the major league team soon. So it would make no sense to trade him. We need his bat too. But I would make a large package of anybody else available.
If we could get a 3rd baseman I'd include Urshela.
It may not be enough but I'd try. We'll have a couple big salaries off the books soon and we could lock the guy up.

One more year for both of them, isn't it?

They're both signed thru 2016, yes.
