Keep pitching the way we have, or at least close to it, and we can't slump again. Remember how sustained the pitching was the last couple months of 2014? They can do it again. I want to see Kluber with a shutout of his own to prove he's dominant again; all his strikeouts are nice but I don't think he belongs on the all-star team for the body of his 2015 work.

Pirates score in only 2 innings over 3 games. And win two of three.

Shoulda won that with 3 runs today.
In the 4th they showed the Pirates talking in the dugout...
I wonder what it was that they noticed in Salazars pitching....if I'm not mistaken they jumped on the first pitch with a couple of the hits...and at least one of the runs.

after a near no-hitter, Carrasco comes back with a near no-outer. Ugh. Lets not get back into a team slump again.

One loss is a loss, two losses is a coincidence. Is three a slump yet?

If three is another start like the last two it's a slump.
Kluber's our No. 1 guy. His job is to get the team a win after a couple losses. He retires the All Star secondbaseman to start the game, without striking him out. Let's keep that up and give all those guys bullpen who didn't work for a week a day off.

One hit, one strikeout, 17 pitches. Not especially impressive, but sure beats what Carrasco did in his 1st inning.

Well, no arguing Kluber did his part tonite.
As well, good to see Brantley get his head out of his butt. Be nice if Santana could do the same (though he has a couple hits)

Looks like my lady friend and I will be going to the Wed night game. Haven't gotten tickets yet, not sure where will sit. Any suggestions? Oh and she lived in Houston almost her entire life.

This guy going for Houston today really stinks. Not just is his ERA 7.71 in his one 2015 major league start, but he allowed 93 hits in 78 innings in AAA, seven homers. If he were left-handed that's just the kind of guy who could be counted on to shut down the Tribe "offense". Fortunately, perhaps, he's a righty.

Oh wow. We might muster 3 runs tonight.

This guy got a Carlos Santana bobblehead with a broken bat.
I thought it was apropos considering the real Carlos Santana obviously has something broken with his bat too.

This is too funny. Zack Meisel's came without a bat at all.

According to STATS, the Indians are the first team in MLB history to have four pitchers w/100 strikeouts or more before the All-Star break!
Those pitchers: Kluber, Carrasco, Bauer, Salazar; Bauer has nine through eight tonight!
Again I'll say we should not be below .500
But, well it's Cleveland so....

Juggernaut.
Great outing by Bauer. Gattis' homer in the first inning on a ball by his eyeballs should not count.
