Zack Meisel @ZackMeisel:
The Indians own a .148/.197/.185 slash line (8 hits in 54 at-bats) with the bases loaded this season. That's incomprehensible.

Hillbilly, when did you start using such big words like incomprehensible?

What's incomprehensible to me is that they keep pitching to Miggy.
And that one team can be so dominated by another.

I copied and pasted that. That was someone else's vocabulary.

But, recently a research company called Grammarly did a study of all the teams fans in MLB. They researched their messages on teams web sites and such, and posted which teams had the worst spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
Indians fans were dead last. Meaning they made the least mistakes. The smartest of the bunch. So I'm sure we can use big words too.
Tigers fans were 6th on list. 6th worst.
New York Mets fans were the worst. Most mistakes. The dumbest. Which I found funny, considering New Yorkers are the first to look down their noses at people.
Here's the full list.

So the team stinks, but the fans are smart. I guess that's come kind of a tradeoff[?]

I'm afraid that should be the "fewest" mistakes. We may have just lost our ranking.

No worries. They're not grading any forum that I post on, obviously!

But don't think for a second that I didn't immediately show the article to my wife.

5th inning:
Tied at one run apiece.
Tigers have bases loaded for Miguel Cabrera with one out thanks to back-to-back walks.
BUT...Salazar induces a ground ball back to him, and HE DROPS THE BALL!
Run scores, then the Tigers go on to score 5 more!

After seeing the play the only thing I can think is this team is just snake bit. It's not happening for them. Just start shopping some guys around and build for next year.

I don't know about that, but as July approaches and if this continues, Antonetti may well have to think like a seller.
