Yeah, Mr. Hyde showed up tonight. Poor defense by Santana didn't help, but they were belting everything else.

Tonight is the first time I've really been able to concentrate on Marcum's stuff and honestly I don't know how he ever has Dr. Jekyll outings. All his pitches have been the same speed tonight. 83 to 85. And once in a while he mixes in a slow blooping curve that is 80 or so.

You're not getting major leaguers out without changing speeds better than that.

Great defense by Kipnis and Urshela actually helped this from being worse.

You might want to add Marcum to that core of starters. About time they called him up.

This guy is a seasoned, proven starter in the league. If his arm is healthy, turn him loose.

I actually still like what Marcum has done overall in that 5th slot.
