Doesn't look that way :(

Interesting lineup changes, that made sense, but of course didn't work out:

Santana who gets on base all the time moved up to 2nd in the order. Raburn hit cleanup.

I was frustrated and surprised that with Kipnis on 2nd and no outs, Santana who pulls everything hits a weak grounder to short forcing Kip to hold. When it rains, it pours.

At least now we're having good games followed by bad games instead of all bad. Offense some days, not others, instead of never any. I'm still confident that we have four top quality starters which should get us back into contending position if the hitting is average at least, which I think is achievable.

Game underway and how it's official:

Kluber who never seemed like a future candidate to win a Cy Young Award, but was great last year,

Stinks this year. He's done 4-0 in the first with nobody out and the bullpen getting ready. But I'm sure it's all due to the rain delay which had no effect on the Royals pitcher who retired the Tribe in order.

He rights the ship and retires the next 3. All the Tribe has to do now is rally from 4 runs against a guy with an ERA of just over 2 and the world's best bullpen.

Tito's hunt for the cold arm in the pen worked out yesterday. After Brian Shaw comes in to get one out and end a rally, he's done for the day. The next two he trotted out [Hagadone and Atchison] couldn't retire any of the 4 they faced and put the game out of reach. But Tito got to use 6 relievers in one game and make sure everyone of them gets overworked. Never cared for his overmanaging even when it worked.

I am afraid I agree. My main complaint with Wedge is he would change pitchers a lot until he found the bad one......then left him in because he had little left in the pen.It is overmanaging and I somehow wish Crockett had not been sent down.
