J.R., nice pics!

When using, do you have to regularly refer to the manuel?

:-)

(first vacation I ever spent in Florida was in Bradenton in 1967.....perhaps it has changed....)

Bad weather moving into the valley over the weekend. Bad hitting moved into Tempe this afternoon.

The big bats managed 8 singles and couldn't score a run. The Pronk, used to be able to mash the ball, was 4/4 all singles.

Chisenhall is working on a ticket to Columbus.

Slowey isn't impressing anybody.

I wonder if Slowey was pitching against the Tribe, they could manage more than singles.

I'll take 4 singles from Pronk. He's making contact, and the power might come.

If not, 4 for 4 with four singles is not a bad day.

We have a regular monsoon up here in Northern California. I feel like a damned (Oregon) duck.

That's the crap moving into the valley Sunday. We could use the rain.

I had the same sentiment here a few weeks ago. After I partially tore my achilles for the first time on my right leg I was hoping for continued drought. Wet surfaces and crutches and walking air casts do not always mesh well.

I've torn the achilles on my left leg three times and finally had it surgically repaired in 2004 and it's doing great. I was told that tearing one achilles tremendously increases the chances of tearing the other achilles.

They were right.

Hasn't and won't stop me from doing a thing. Though I did realize that I am "right footed." It was far easier for me to crutch with the injured left leg than it is with the partially torn right leg. And it's a bitch to drive having to remove the right cast in the driver's seat, then putting it back on to get out of the truck.

I see the doc after three weeks in this cast on Monday.
I think he's younger than Doogie Howser. If he offers surgery, I'm biting. I wish I would have had surgery back in 1995 to get the left achilles fixed right in the first place.

It's rained incessantly here now since about Tuesday and all day today it's been like the shower has been left on outside.

Wish I could head to Tahoe to hit the slopes...

:-)

I think Slowey will be OK. Remember, he's coming back off an injury that ended his season early in 2011....as are a few of the guys we signed.

Plus he did climb Mount Kilimanjaro a few months back and is still getting used to the Arizona desert.

Since ST stats don't make a difference, none of the following make a difference.

Santana 200 1 double 1 triple 1 homer
Kotchum 231 1-0-1
Kipnis 240 2-0-1
Cabrera 217 2-0-0
Chisenhall 200 0-0-0
Hanahan 222 1-0-1
Brantley 350 3-1-0
Choo 238 1-0-2
Hafner 318 1-0-0

LF candidates:

Duncan 294 0-0-3 10 rbi
Canzler 409 1-0-0
Lopez 563 2-0-2 5 rbi
Spilborgs 238 1-0-0
Carrera 217 0-0-0
Pie 167 1-1-0
Lewis 214 1-0-0
Cunningham 222 1-0-0
Neal nothing for 7
LaPorta 211 1-0-0

Very little impressive

Peralta 350 0-0-1
Fielder 292 0-0-2
Jackson 261 0-0-0
Aviles 250 1=0-1
Inge 227 2-0-1
Boesch 217 1-0-2

I'll show a little more concern next week. Seattle looks good. I'll be pretty disappointed if Wedge gets the hands up over Acta.

Don't be concerned about ubaldo's inability to get outs it's spring training and he is "working on things"

Heyman just essentially tweeted that ubaldo's can't pitch but we don't want to be too negative because it is spring training and he only allowed 6 runs this game
