It looks like we did have the Tigers number this year after all. I was only about a dozen wins short. Congrats to the Tribe on a great season, so far.

Well, I should have known who the genius around here was.

HB - I am going with 93 this year.

We will win 54, lose 54, and of the remaining 54 we will win 23 straight. It will come down to what we do with the remaining 31.

so you have them at 77-54. Split the remainder and they're at 93-69 which swamps the field in the Central. I think they'll win a few more than that, let's make it 96-66.

I see that Joe got this part right on the money last season:

"I'll go with 97 assuming that the outfield will be at least equal to that of 2016. I think the outfield could be better with the return of Kipnis to second base, a full year of Abraham Almonte, and Yandy Diaz's move to the outfield."

96 Sounds good to me. Spread those wins a little bit so that they don't have to win 14 or 23 in a row.

Chalk me up for an even 100!

This is a pretty positive situation we're in; the only debate is where between 90 and 100 or so wins should we expect.
Things always could go wrong but there's so much really solid talent here that it's unlikely.

Think I'll wait a while to see what shakes out in Spring Training. I expect a couple of late trades and signings.

Tribe Regular season wins over/under 93 1/2

Which puts then 11 ahead of the Twins, 17 ahead of the Royals and 25 ahead of the Sox and Tigers.

I'm going back to 91 wins this season.
