Bullet up the middle and Shaw snags it. Going to the ninth 2-0.

That extension for Carrasco is looking pretty nifty.

Assuming he doesn't drop dead of a bad ticker.

Game at 2 PM tomorrow afternoon.
I dunno, at 2pm the games start in the US Chess Championship too. Robson and Nakamura tied at 5/7 with four rounds to go; Wesley So on 4.5/7 can't be counted out either. Will Nakamura press for a win against the lower-rated Troff even though he has the black pieces? And in the women's section, can defending champ Irina Krush start to make up the 1-point deficit to Nemcova, who has been having a great tournament so far? Only four more rounds remaining.

Ah, well, doesn't matter, I'm working then anyway.

and then gets an aggressive batter grounds into a double play to Chisinhall. Oh wait Lonnie lets it hit off his glove
Chisenhall made something like 5 errors in the spring. He still cannot play his position. I sure hope Urshela gets over his bad back and preps for the majors. We need solid defense behind our excellent pitching if we hope to contend. I don't know if Ramirez at 3rd is an option with Lindor stepping in at SS. But Chisenhall has established his credentials as a lousy fielder and we cannot keep him there.

This has probably been mentioned here before but I would like to see them consider Ramirez at 2nd and Kipnis at 3rd when Lindor comes up for good.

Does Kipnis have the arm for 3rd? The quick reactions? I don't think he'll fit there.

Would he be perfect for 3rd, maybe not. But I personally have no doubt the defense at all 3 positions, 2b, SS, and 3b, would be improved with such a move..
