Pluto's webcast [can't copy it or at least don't know how to] stresses the need to make moves with the OF.
He cannot understand why Noel has not been sent out with his [below] 150 average and 4 extra base hits.
He says he's not a JRod fan but can't see any reason not to bring up while he's hitting well in Columbus
He ponders whether Kayfus should move on up soon, too, since he hasn't slowed down at all since reaching AAA and notes he's playing a lot of RF

I'd suggest that in the next 5-10 days the Guardians
add Thomas, Rodriguez and Kayfus
delete Noel, Brennan and Wilson
remain patient with Jones since he's out of options and he did show in 2023 that he does have talent in there that might just come back out again.

If Kayfus looks major league ready, I'd expect that Santana gets traded when Fry is ready to return and Kayfus and Manzardo share 1st base between them; and share DH with Fry.
If and when DeLauter is physically fit and spends some effective weeks in Columbus, bring him up and let JRod loose unless he possibly contributes during the next month

'24 No. 1 pick Bazzana to miss 8-10 weeks with oblique strain

Travis Bazzana's first full professional season has hit a road block. Bazzana, the Guardians' top prospect and the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 MLB Draft, could miss two months with an oblique strain.

Bazzana (Cleveland’s No. 1 prospect, No. 12 overall) has an “internal oblique strain,” the Guardians announced on Tuesday. The return-to-play timeline for similar injuries is typically 8 to 10 weeks, according to the team, meaning Bazzana could be sidelined until August.

Bazzana will head out to the Guardians’ complex in Goodyear, Ariz., to begin his rehab progression.

Bazzana reported right side flank soreness after his at-bat in the fourth inning of Double-A Akron’s 6-1 win over Chesapeake on Wednesday, and an MRI later revealed the strain. The 22-year-old reached for his right side on three consecutive pitches during that at-bat, before he hit a double to right field. Bazzana received attention from a team trainer and manager Greg DiCenzo upon reaching second base.

It’s a tough setback for Bazzana, who opened 2025 with Akron after playing 27 games with High-A Lake County upon being drafted last year. In 33 games with the RubberDucks, he has recorded .252/.362/.433 slash line, with five doubles, three triples, four homers and 17 RBIs.

Bazzana was in the midst of a strong May before the injury. He recorded a .904 OPS in 51 plate appearances over 12 games in May, compared to a .740 OPS in 98 PAs over 21 games in April.

On a team that everyone gets a chance J Rod can not get on the team. Geez, give it a break ! If the kid makes it great but do not act like the FO and manager have not let you know where they stand.

JRod would make a good fillin while Noel returns to the minors and gets back in the groove. All we need is a RH bat to pinch hit and fill in a spot until we have Fry back
