1100 was coming in loud and clear this evening. Nice interview with Chris Dickerson. He's an eloquent speaker. After listening to the interview, I like him even more.

Nice debut by Roberto Perez. Great job getting that rally started that helped giving us that lead.

Figures. I missed the entire thing. I was able to sneak one peek at my phone during the evening but had to use that one brief excursion to see what LeBron was doing. LOL

Nice to see a nice few games from a career AAAA guy like Dickinson, but there's a reason that his been his career roll. He and Matt Carson and Nyjer Morgan are all going to get their occasional chances to help out.

On my Computer at least R. Perez looks like a more muscular Molina.
Don't we wish!

Let's not make Roberto an all-star quite yet. But he has the makings of a good backup and possibly more than that.

Figures I hit a dead spot on the way home from dinner and missed everything after Cabrerra's two out single.
We were down 4-3, now it's 6-4.

Another bad call overturned in our favor, which may well be a game changer as it allowed us to get bases loaded with one out for Aviles.
Aviles fights for 9 pitches before flying out to left.
Kipnis walks on 4 straight pitches, run scored.
3-1
Still fully juiced for Cabrerra.....who strikes out.....
Bases loaded for 3 batters in a row and we only get 1 run.
Better than none I suppose.

Well not anymore....Austin Adams came in for the 9th and gave up 2 runs...then R-Ski came in and let one of the runners score.
6-2 now....with Gomes, Murphy and Aviles up.

Gomes just got drilled in head by bat on a backswing, and told ump and hitter immediately not to worry, all good.
Love me some Yan Gomes.
If that had been 95% of pro athletes, especially ones that play soccer or basketball, he would have laid there and acted like he was dying for a half hour.

Nice play before that by Aviles, running down a fly ball in left and then (as an homage to today's Tribe starter T. Bauer) making a foul line to foul line throw to double up the runner at first.
