Brantley gave us the bloop!

Well, Lonnie and Swisher both got swings, but both just got under them. Two easy fly outs to end the game. (after a Santana K)

This kid who started for NYY has had no particular success in the minors. His only other big league work was 1/3 inning of relief with 3 walks.

Brantley is on fire!!

And again Bauer pitched well.

Agree on both points. Bauer had to put up with some lousy defense and stayed out there for over 110 pitches. Maturity and toughness are the right words for his work. 2 or 3 runs allowed nearly each time out; not yet stellar but really solid. He could be an important rotation building block with Kluber and we can hope Salazar. Diamondbacks once again gave up on a really good pitcher.
