I'd help. You'd probably need it.

7.5 games out. Things are not looking so rosy.

Maybe Santana and Swisher will decide to show up one day.

JOE: You haven't been paying attention to Santana. Swisher is still below the Mendoza line, but Carlos has turned his season around this past month. Check out this link:

And last night, he hit two scorchers down the 1B line, but the first baseman was hugging the line, or they would have been easy doubles in the corner.

Bats have awakened :)
BUT Masterson can't stand prosperity, it seems. :o

Masterson is so mad at Swisher that he walks the next 2 batters.

This has been the problem with the Indians for the last 15 years. They will nickel & dime for marginal players instead of spending a full dollar for a star.

They will spend 5, 10, or 15 mill on a guy like Murphy or Swisher but they won't spend 20 mill on a superstar.

Look, I love Swisher and Murphy, they're great guys. But combined they are making 21 mill this year, 22 next.

I would rather have a 20 mill per year superstar, then put a guy like Holt or some young guy in there at the other spot. You could have minor leaguers fill out the bench too instead of guys like Giambi and Rayburn. Use that money for wisely.

Nick Swisher saw our posts and responded with a two-run double.

Unfortunately that will be his only hit for a week.

(Trying to see if my kiss of life can actually push him to hot streak)

Well well, if it isn't that P O S, Chris Perez.

He's 0-3 with a 5.20 ERA.

I'm sure it's the Dodgers fans fault. Not supporting him properly.

I hope this loud mouth idiot is out of baseball soon.

Actually got to see most of this game. missed the 1st inning. wasn't able to post. But that was an awesome triple play and then to have a double challenge. Both calls I thought could have gone either way. Very cool.

Well at least you got him another hit in this game!
