Bauer gets the first two outs, then walks a guy. sitting on 61 pitches.....
Runner steals 2nd.....and Baur strikes him out looking.
Bottom of the 5th......
Struck out Odor.
Choo walked.....
SS hit a screamer right at Cabrerra who misfired trying to double up Choo at first.....who ends up at 3rd.
2 out Choo at third....Bauer wild pitch to the backstop. Choo tries to score from 3rd. Gomes gets it to Bauer in time to tag out Choo sliding into home.
That was wierd....and awesome. Nice heads up by Baur to get to the plate and get the tag.
On to the 6th.

Bauer goes to a full count on the first batter who takes the 88th pitch to Brantly in left.
Beltre strikes out on 3 pitches....I think he screwed himself into the ground on the swing at the second pitch.
MLB feed went down.
Came back on with Brantly up in the 7th....so I guess we got the 3rd out easily.

R-Ski gets the 2nd batter out.
R-Ski gives up the go ahead HR.
R-Ski gets the 3rd batter out.
On to the top of the 8th.

Bottom of the 8th Frasor pitching
Gomes strikes out.
Santana works to 3-2 and fouls off a hundred pitches (ok 6) until he draws a walk.
One out One on for Aviles....quickly goes 0-2 and fouls a couple...works the count full.
*&^$.....Aviles needs to benched...NOW.
He hit into a DP ball, but Santana disrupted enough with his slide that had Aviles been hustling he would have made it to first...instead he was lollygagging and it was a DP.
Even Manning said he would have made it had he been running.

Axford in to face Beltre with 2 on and 1 out. Andros steals 3rd on the first pitch.
Pop to short center, runner scores.

Lets see if there is anything left in the tribe tank after that deflating effort from Aviles.
Bourne strikes out for the 4th time tonight effectively ending his 8 game hitting streak.
Cabrera grounds out to first.
Down to Brantley and the final out.
Brantley keeps it alive with a single. Tying run at the plate is Kipnis.
Strike out. Ballgame.

It's probably the first game all year I've sat down and watched an entire game at the computer and sober enough to type.

No magic tonight. We battled back to .500, but now are one game below. How long before we get back to even again?
Tigers won tonight, btw.

I would have joined in if I saw anyone was posting here, but I don't check during the game any more. GameTime folder ain't what it used to be!

I've either been watching or listening while doing other stuff. I've been home and have been doing a bunch of stuff around the house and visiting relatives and such.
I thought we had a chance till Aviles gave up on the play. I hope he gets benched for that shit.

Well, you pretty much had to write off Bauer vs Darvish anyways. Didn't really turn out that way, they had a shot, but it's certainly fair to question why Tito let Repz pitch after he got the lefty out.
Could have simply left Bauer in with one lefty and one righty up next. His pitch count wasn't that high.

That was the first time I saw Bauer pitch, and from I can tell his best outing. I like the fact that he was able to recover from the 4 run 2nd inning by setting down 6 in a row.
