Joe bellyaching about another fringe player that would have never made the team if not for an injury.

Must be spring.......
Must be. But right now the fringe player looks like Bourn. I hope Bourn, Swisher, and Santana get their acts together real soon.

I would shake up the lineup for the time being and drop Bourn, Santana and Cabrera down. Not permanently, just to take off some top or mid-lineup pressure. Although Cabrera since about mid 2013 has been consistently quite bad offensively (except for a couple September weeks when he racked up homers and RBI). I'd like to hit Brantley at the top of the order. Also in the middle of the order.

Brantley leading off is a very good idea!

Kipnis got ejected arguing balls and strikes is the short version.

Brantley is absolutely amazing. Another 2 out, 2 run single for this guy. Off Verlander no less.

Salazar lost it quickly there. He was cruising through 4 innings. With him & Carrasco uncertainties to go 6IP, u see why Francona wants 8 RP

I checked in just at the wrong time.

Salazar out of there with another 4 2/3 inning start, 5 runs, 6 hits, 3 walks, 2 strikeouts.
It would not be a terrible thing if he were to spend some time in Columbus. He only has 59 innings of AAA experience, most of pitchers go back down to work things out. Kluber and McAllister and obviously Bauer did not stay up forever after their first work in the big leagues.
