Watching th3 game tonight, down 3-0. Not afraid of that, we are the Guardians.

Plesac is toast as far as I am concerned. While I am at it, not sold on Arias either, I feel he is all about Gabe, kind of like the anti Kwan. Miller will have a hard time making the cut out of spring training next year as well.

Feel good about our chances to have a long run in the playoffs, and perhaps ever a WS crown.

I never get too optimistic but certainly enjoy the team and they are unconcerned about any predictions of their demise.

They need to trim 2 off the current 28 man roster. Will they keep all 3 catchers? Apparently. Arias seems very capable of playing bad defense all over the field [like Miller] but I guess he stays. Then makes Will Benson expendable. Kirk McCarty will go, leaving Morris and Plesac for long relief. But I would be happy to leave Plesac off and say good riddance. It;s tough to have a 3-12 record for a team 20 games over .500; some bad luck, some bad pitching.

If I have this right, Cleveland's 26 man first round roster includes 7 rookies:

IF Arias
OF Kwan Gonzalez Brennan Benson
P McCarty [what McCarty not Morris? I guess they want a lefty and/or someone to pitch in a blowout]
C Naylor

and I think 8 or 9 second year guys including almost the entire bullpen
IF Giminez and Miller
P Clase Karinchak Stephan Sandlin Morgan Hentges and I think McKenzie still qualified as a rookie after 33 innings in 2020

Has anyone heard how tampa steve and Lou weathered the hurricane?
