Does the game between the two wild-card teams count as a 163rd season game, or as a round of playoffs? Seems to me it should be the latter ... not that it makes a HUGE difference.
If we win tomorrow and either of the others lose, we play the one game playoff against one of them, win that and we are in the regular playoffs.
If we lose tomorrow, and the other teams win. We will have to play a tie-breaker, and win that to play the one game playoff for the playoffs.
In essence this extra wildcard has has 3-5 teams playing as if it was the playoffs for the past month.
With three teams in virtually must win games for the past week.
