My problem with Giambi......he was found guilty of cheating and continually denied it. At the time, things couldn't be "fixed" until the truth be told.

I would have no problems with Giambi today, if, when found guilty, he just admitted it. I totally believe in second chances but not so much with liars and repeat offenders. (Same with Manny Ramirez when he became a repeat offender).

As far as Giambi is concerned, I'm just looking to put the best team on the field for the playoffs. Everyone is excited that Giambi walked off with the win last night. Hell! I was also. I couldn't wait to get home to see the call. Pinch hit homers that result in walkoffs are rare. Versatility and speed are not. In my opinion, Ramirez can contribute more to the team in multiple ways, especially when we go back to a 25 man roster.

I don't want to make a big deal here. Ramirez will not make the post season roster. I know that. The remarks were my opinions only. I just believe that Ramirez can contribute in more ways. I don't like the idea of going to Tampa under a one and out situation especially in a close ballgame which I expect it to be. I'd rather see speed than power under that situation.

In a one game series that projects to be low scoring, I would rather depend on speed than power. Like I stated, just my opinion.

I hope the Indians can give Salazar some runs tonight. So far he's had lousy offensive support.

Swisher with a 2-run dinger. 4-1 Tribe. Sounds like a nice crowd on hand for the final game of the season at home playoffs excluded.

After 5, Salazar has 8 strikeouts with 1 walk. Looks like he can go at least 2 more innings if he maintains this pace.

With Price pitching and the Ray batting in the top of the 6th, Tampa leads 3-2.

Houston just scored 3 in the top of thr 4th. They lead Texas 3-1.

Tampa in their half of the 6th just hit the pin stripers with a 4 spot and are running away with that game. Safe to put that one on the board with Price on the mound. 7-2 Rays in the 6th.

Well, Texas comes back with 4 to take a 5-3 lead over Houston in the 4th. Look like a Texas win in the makings.

The Tribe just added a run in the 6th leading 5-2 and still batting. Just keep winning is the theme of the hour.

Texas ended up putting up 5 runs in the 4th to take a commanding lead of 6-3 over the lowly Strohs.
