90 wins is a lock for the playoffs and I think 89 wins gets us in at least a playoff. To me the key games are the 2 home games vs the Sox. We need'em BOTH! Tampa will lose a game or two to the Yankees but I wouldn't count on Texas losing more than 1 to LA....

Just play the game. No need to worry about what other teams do. The season will have ended for 2 of these 3 teams by next Wednesday. Enjoy the moment.......

MLB.com blacked me out. Looks like I'll have to resort to watching the game on gamecast.

What is it about our futility in solving lefties?

Not armchair quarterbacking here, but I found it strange that Francona didn't have Rayburn sacrificing Santana to third after his leadoff double. Cabrera's fly might have brought Santana home.

I don't think of Raburn as a sacrificing type. He had a better chance of hitting a deep fly, which would have advanced the runner, too.
