12276Competition for jobs on this team comes down to picking between awful and Jag. Nothing special. Time to trade some pitching for some upgrades.

12278Orioles acquired RHP Adam Plutko from the Orioles for cash considerations.
Plutko appeared in six games during Cactus League play, posting a 5.00 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and 11/2 K/BB ratio over nine innings of work. Given the current state of the Orioles rotation, there's a reasonable chance that Plutko could work his way into a rotation spot.
