WoW! The more I watch Danny Salazar, the more I like him. Could be the ACE of this staff in the near future. Danny was my former break out pitcher of three years ago.

I fell asleep around the 6th inning with us behind 1-0. Woke up with sciatica pain around 3 and we were ahead 4-1 with Carrasco pitching. We won! Took two Bayers and went back to sleep after the pain subsided. Slept better with the victory.

I watched the first 8 innings, then listened in bed until the 11th. Woke up (or was still awake) a while later, turned on the radio, and heard it was the 14th, still tied. I turned it off, and fell asleep. This morning I see that the 14th was the inning where we took the lead, and that:

We are now 5.5 behind the Tigers, and 3.5 behind the A's for the third WC. That last series in Oakland hurt us, but there is still time to catch up...

We have this habit of terrible success in head to head battles with teams we are fighting for position. We beat everyone else.
