If someone had told me there was going to be a shutout in the Indians/ Marlins game tonight, I would have bet dollars to doughnuts the team with the most shutouts in baseball (Indians) would dominate the team with the least runs in baseball (Marlins).

Wonder if any of the Tribe players did the South Beach bar tour.

In my morning pre-coffee/tea/vitamin haze I checked the score saw the little box that said CLE-MIA and a 10-0 score and just assumed it was in our favor.

Later I came back to read the wrap and saw it was the opposite.

If we are going to lose like that and get shut out, at least it was a kid who is on fire, not some first time call up. I hate when we get beat by one of those guys, and it seems to happen a lot.

Take the next two and all will be well.

Just hope this isn't the start of a 5-6 game losing streak.....as we have been prone to have this season. As long as the winning streaks stay longer than the losing streaks we'll be fine.

It sure would be nice to see this team get on one of their hot streaks as the playoffs start....and keep it going for three weeks.

Playing again today and ahead 2-0 heading to the bottom of the 9th. Tribe has wasted lots of baserunners but Chsenhall and Brantley with RBI; Kazmir 6 innings; Shaw a shaky 7th; Smith the 8th. You can guess who's in to get the final 3 outs.

Tigers rallied to take a 2-1 lead on the lousySox but lousy Tiger bullpen gave up the advantage in the 9th. Threy're tied in 11th.

A cleanup hitter named Lance Morrison leads off with an out to center field.

A fellow named Solano does the same thing. One more for PErez to get.
