Re: GameTime!™
11882Joe Smith retired Adrian Beltre on a line drive to left that was caught on the warning track.
Lucky it was not a left handed hitter.

11884Jimenez with his best game of the year....maybe even since he's been an Indian.....110 pitches 2 hits through 8. Probably won't see the ninth.
Swisher was 3-4....
3 outs away from 2nd consecutive shutout of the Rangers....Pestano warming up.
6-0
enroute to the first sweep of Texas in Cleveland since 1980.
In the last 15 games starters with a 1.94 ERA.
Pestano walks the first batter. And quickly goes 2-0....this has potential for ugliness.
Double play, bases empty....2 down.....ugliness is fading.
Strike out, ballgame.
Hell of a weekend.
56 and 48....a better record than Nolan Ryans Texas Rangers now 56 and 49.
Most of us would have been happy to be above .500 at this point let alone keeping pace with the Bankrupt City up North.
Fun times.

11887Listened to the game on xm at the beach. Hammy got REALLY excited when Raburn made that catch! Ubaldo seems to be getting better! Of course, we gave up 2 future Cy Young winners to get him...how are those guys doing now?

11890As I posted in the other folder, Tito is proving to be an amazing pickup! And he picked Callaway for his staff.
Hail Tito!!

11895This homestand has already been a success.
Sweeping the Rangers was sweet.
I have the bragging rights at work with that earlier sweep of the sox in Chicago and now the walkoff by Giambi.
Charlie's boys let us down over the weekend. Are the Phillies really that bad this year?
I just can't seem to get myself on the Giambi bandwagon.
I still think we need to add a Lindor-type ballplayer at or near the trading deadline. Good glove. Hits for average with gap power. SPEED! I love speed.
