So nice to have SPEED in the lineup. Bourn doubles, steals 3rd, and scores on a sac fly by Aviles.

It just doesn't get any better than that JR!

With Bourn on second with a double. Aviles was down 0-1 in the count, saw the jump Bourn had, and took a strike right down the heart of the plate allowing Bourn to cruise into third. Down 0-2, drives one to the opposite field deep enough to score Bourn. You just gotta love that kind of baseball. Aviles is one cool customer. He's been locked in all spring including the big WBC series.

And he didn't have to drive it as deep as he did, with Bourn's speed.

Brantley homers again to make it 6-2!

I've been waiting since 1948 for that to happen.

He could turn out to be the best acquisition of all the new guys we picked up for this season.

My vote would be strongly for Bourn. More consistant than Swisher or Reynolds, good offense, great deftense.

And Gomes could turn out the best of the bunch.

Jhonny just won the game for the Tigers with a walkoff 2-run homer. Red Sox pitcher Bailey blows it.
