found the Arizona complex league stats. 6 games in, our team is 4-2 with plenty of offensive fireworks.

I know some of the names:
Isaiah Greene, OF from the Mets
Carson Tucker 1st round 2020 pick of course a SS
Milan Tolentino 2020 pick playing mostly at 3b has 2 homers; Greene, Turcker Durango each with one
Junior Sanquintin now playing 1b
Of Luis Durango a top International signing OF
Jose Pastrano high rated IF mostly playing 2b

Don't know the pitchers except for those rehabbing:
Cody Morris noted above whose returned to Akron
Adam Scott a lefty at Akron last year
No sign of Joey Cantillo; and I believe Ethan Hankins and Carlos Vargas are both out for the year

Team is hitting 261/413/426 with the OPS Of 838 4th about 20 teams
But the only guy among top 20 in individual stats in any category is another SS/IF Dayan Frias at 538/667/769 whose OPS of 1236 is 4th

Pitching has a combined ERA of 6.35 sitting 14th in the league

Perhaps Petey Halpin should be playing in the Arizona league. His Lynchburg debut now has him 1-22 with a walk, a not overwhelming 7 strikeouts and a steal.

Now that I know how to find the Arizona box scores they are off today. So it goes.

At Columbus Wilson Ramos went 2 for 3. If you doubt this guy can hit look at this simplified version of both his minor and major league career hitting stats.

.271 career average in the big leagues over 3,400 ish at bats with 134 homers.

Does a 6 inning AAA shutout by Heath Fillmyer earn him a spot in the Cleveland rotation? He is not a complete nobody. A 5th round draft choice. 27 years old. Pitched for KC in 2018 4.26 ERA mostly as a starter, that's about 1/2 the ERA total for most of our current rotation. 8.06 in 2019 which sounds more like one of ours. 2019 AAA ERA5.11, 2021 AAA ERA 4.67.

A quick summary of our minor league season so far:

Nothing special.
None of our top prospects: Jones, Rocchio. Valera, Bracho, Espino, Arias, Naylor have excelled. Not sure any will move up in the overall prospect ratings.
A couple breakouts:
Logan Allen Jr. soars to AA
Angel Martinez the best performances of our many solid SS.

Other good work by:
Rocchio
Jose Tena
Xzavion Curry
Johnkennsy Noel but then he got hurt twice and has not returned

Significant injuries to:
Ethan Hankins
Carlos Vargas
a couple of starting pitchers who we could certainly hope would develop quickly

Inconsistant work by young starters we'd hope would develop quickly
Espino
Josh Wolf
Torres
Tanner Burns

Yes Will Brennan numbers have been quite good, could've included him but doesn't have long ball power.
I should however have included Will Benson who is developing many of the 5 tools he was drafted for; I like the fact that he's apparently not swinging exclusively for the fences witness many doubles and triples, and drawing plenty of walks.

Lynchburg postponed

Rocchio and Lavastida with 2 hits early; Bracho SF and walk.

for Akron: Benson single and 2 walks, looking like a good leadoff man; Steven Kwan off the DL recently singles and doubles OPS climbs over 900;
Cody Morris Akron debut with 4 shutout innings, 4 hits 3 strikeouts no walks.

for Columbus Gabriel Arias 6th homer and walk. Oscar Gonzalez playing AAA small ball: 2 singles, he has 4 singles in 7 at bats and NO strikeouts.

Heaven help me but I'm excited at the prospect of the Tribe having a catcher who can actually hit.

Wilson Ramos went deep for Columbus.

That's the one position I really don't care if we get offense. Perez is a great handler of pitchers, controls baserunners and almost never makes an error or a passed ball. Hedges not too far behind. They each hit an occasional homer and walk some, that's good enough for me.
