Indians have added 49 home runs and 106 RBI to their lineup with Puig and Reyes.
Plus Reyes has less than a year ML service time. So they've bolstered the lineup for this year and beyond, further polishing their rep as one of the best in the majors at trade deadline deals.

Did the Indians just managed to fleece two teams at once?

Per sources, the three-team deal looks like this:
Reds get Trevor Bauer (from CLE)
Padres get Taylor Trammell (from CIN)
Indians get Yasiel Puig, Scott Moss (from CIN), Franmil Reyes, Logan Allen, Victor Nova (from SD)

Something else to note about Reyes ... can clearly power the ball out of park to all fields. This becomes important when talking about a RH hitter looking at that 19-foot left field wall. Just for fun, here is his spray chart from past 2 years over Progressive Field.

Puig is a punk. Other teams have figured that out.

Doesn't matter, he will be a 2 month rental who happens to be having a really good year as a power hitting RF.

Indians Prospective
@indiansPro
Just got done messaging with two former scouts who can't believe what the Indians came away with in the Trade. I concurred.

Wait, we added Scott Moss too?
I don't know anything about Nova, will have to look into him. But Moss is a lefty starter in Reds system that is interesting. Big lefty, like 6'5"
I need to leave and come back again in another half hour and see who else we were able to steal.

God only knows what this will look like, but here is Moss' minor league stats. Interesting dude, I'm telling ya. He had one down year but his other seasons are all very promising.

Kyle Glaser @KyleAGlaser (Baseball America writer)
Indians got two everyday OFs who can mash, one of whom is under control for many more years, and a promising young lefty who's a Top 100 prospect and in the major leagues. Impressive, impressive haul

Victor Nova is the complex-level prospect headed from #Padres to #Indians in the Bauer three-team.
Per two scouts w/ backfields coverage, he’s a LHH bat-first utility guy who moves around the field but not up the middle. Flier w/ some feel to hit, pads the deal.

I get your point, it's not your kind of guy....yet. But if Bradley puts up those kinds of numbers on a big league field i'll be surprised.
TFIR, you may not have realized this, but Bradley is a year younger than Reyes. And the most homers Reyes ever hit in a minor league season was 25. Bradley has 27 already this year.
I don’t think it’s that big a leap to think Bradley can equal his power output.
And Reyes was a 265 hitter in minor league career, Bradley 255.
I think Reyes is a bit better. Will hit for better average and strike out less, but they’re not that far off, IMHO. But only time tells.
One thing is for sure, our days of Kipnis hitting clean up are definitely over. You are right about that. We should have a couple smashers in the middle for years to come.

Would have to think Bauers goes to AAA to make room for the new guys. Who else goes, Allen?
I never thought about it earlier, but with adding Puig and Reyes, two righties, Luplow could find himself in trouble. Really no need for him anymore.
