So Tito is telling press this afternoon before the game that they are bringing Danny Salazar up to start on Thursday.

Plutko, who was originally set to start, will piggy back off Salazar, who will be on a 70 pitch limit.

So me personally, I don't mind this right now, cause Plutko is quite inconsistent. But once Kluber or Rodriguez or Carrasco comes back, I would move Salazar to the bullpen. I don't send Plesac back down.

Word is behind the scenes Salazar is fighting that, he wants to stay a starter. But tough shit. Some times you have to do what you have to do to help the team. Don't worry about your next contract when you've been making bank for sitting on your ass for 2 years.

Danny Salazar will start for the Indians on Thursday. He’s stretched out to about 70 pitches and will have Adam Plutko to piggyback him if necessary.

Plesac starting tomorrow then?

Correct. Spread the word

OK, so I didn’t hear that wrong. Plesac will move up a day and pitch Wednesday then. Yesterday’s day off allows that.

Trevor Bauer traded to Reds!

ESPN's Jeff Passan reports that Indians starter Trevor Bauer has been traded to the Reds as part of a three-team deal also involving the Padres.

There you have it. Logan Allen, Puig and Franmil.

HB - Pretty sure we discussed Franmil or Hunter Renfroe paired with Logan Allen. Puig a rental as a bonus (for me).

Franmil Reyes brings a whole new meaning to right handed power. Wait til you see this guy. He and Puig would make an unreal tag team.

Puig just a rental so guess we didn’t get as much as I hoped. Although I should face facts, Bauer hasn’t exactly been awesome this year, and throwing tantrums and baseballs doesn’t help.

Front office has always done well in these deals so I’ll remain optimistic. But For now I’m underwhelmed.

Reyes has big time power, but really, you could say he’s another Bradley. He isn’t going to hit for high average or get on base a lot, and Ks a lot.

Allen has been disappointing this year, but still just a 22 year old lefty and has good stuff. Lots of K’s, lots of swing and misses. He could end up real good.

We’ll see.

HB - Franmil is 24, just getting his feet wet.

I get your point, it's not your kind of guy....yet. But if Bradley puts up those kinds of numbers on a big league field i'll be surprised.

Sources tell me that #Reds LHP prospect Scott Moss is also involved in this three-team deal sending Trevor Bauer, going to the #Indians. Details still emerging...
