Would have been a shame not to see Masterson pick up a win with that start.
It's a shame the rest of the rotation isn't even close to pitching half as well.
Honestly not sure why they walked Kipnis. He's been pretty much awful so far.

That was a great game! I have a couple questions, though. Is Swisher that short or is Reynolds really tall? Secondly, who did Swisher belly bump?

Masterson and 2 days of rain equals a 60% decent rotation.
McAllister might be marginally acceptable. Maybe Jiminez will only be awful half of the time. Maybe Bauer will mature quickly. Maybe Carrasco will try using his brain on occasion. Maybe Myers will qualify for the 60-day DL. Maybe Kazmir will be healthy enough to start a dozen games. But I like the 2 rainouts every 5 days strategy better

Reynolds is supposed to be an OK defender, isn't he? He just made his 2nd error in his 2nd start and helped the Sox score 2 in the first

Kipnis and Chisenhall are both off today against Chris Sale. This year we at least have a fighting chance against a left hander.
