LOUFLA and CALIFLA should try to attend one of these games.

Bourn has our two hits, McAllister has allowed 2 to the Rays. Scoreless in the 4th. 3 out of 4 starters are starting OK. That's better than we probably expected.

Oops, spoke too soon. Rays plate their first as Zobrist doubles in Fuld. Tampa starting its second time through the lineup against Zach Mac.

Longoria single keeps it going and there are 2 on, none out. WP puts both in scoring position.

Decent rescue job, he holds the Rays to one more run. Now Tribe has to get offense going against a very good Matt Moore.

And he just quickly set us down in the 5th.

4-0, top of 6th now. 7 Ks so far for us...

4-0 final...TB pitchers retired last 17 Indians hitters in a row.

I'm in Orlando for the day. If I didn't have a 5:30 flight out of here in the morning I woulda tried to go.

I've never thought of Tampa as a "go to a ball game city," and through the years most Tampans have apparently felt the same, judging by the attendance.

Heck, I had Orange Bowl tix this past year and The Orange Bowl committee just comped me four field behind the plate tix for a Marlins game this month, and Damned sure I'm not going to a Marlins game as a 1997 Cleveland Indians Fan.

Seriously, if the Tampa games were later in the season I might have found a way to get there.

Right now I'm still suspect on this Shapiro laden team. Tonight was 11K's of Shazbot.

Like Houston, we have a problem.

Problem was that Tampa had a terrific young pitcher on the hill. They have a lot of those assets which we lack.
