Frustration runneth over.

Looks like its all over but the shouting.
4 behind the Twins right now. Could be 4 1/2. Twins are just getting under way.
I've always had the idea that 5 behind by the 4th of July, the season was pretty much over.
5 behind by the 4th of August and the fat lady can sing.
it took a little over a 1/2 season to pick up 2 1/2 games on the Twins with a favorable schedule.
We have less than a 1/2 season to pick up basically 5 games with the schedule favoring the Twins and badly undermanned.
If you can't win games in this division, you got a bunch of problems.
The person I feel for the most is Jose.
This has got to be a tough pill for him to swallow.
Time to play for pride or pray that we keep within striking distance when we get back to full strength.
I think the time for another miracle season may be over.

They can't hit but they sure can pitch.

Williams and Bibee back to back 7 innings of shutout ball.

Last time done by two rookies was by the future-Hall of Fame pair of [are you ready?] Jeff Mutis and Albie Lopez.
So I guess future success is not guaranteed, but Bibee and Williams are a very exciting pair of starters.
