Greg Allen went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base on Wednesday in the Yankees' extra-inning win over the Phillies.

Allen smacked an RBI double off reliever Cristopher Sánchez in the fourth inning and stole third base later in the frame. Mets got Javier Baez from the Cubs to play SS. He'll switch to 2nd when Lindor returns, in mid August, I suppose

Rays recalled RHP DJ Johnson from Triple-A Durham.

The 31-year-old was recently acquired at the trade deadline from Cleveland and posted a 3.32 ERA and 1.62 WHIP over 21 2/3 frames with Triple-A Columbus. Johnson will take the place of Jeffrey Springs, who was placed on the injured list with a right knee sprain, on the Rays active roster.
