This is a tough time of year for a lot of minor league players. As soon as new players are drafted in June, minor leaguers are released. The ones that got big bonuses will get more chances. The others, reach the end of the line.

If Salters is promoted to Columbus, that tells me Mejia is out. What happened?

Yandy Diaz with a single, is hitting 269. Due to his 22 walks he's on base plenty but Mr. Low Launch Angle has managed an extra base hit barrage of 4 doubles. His OPS is 715. He's a 26 year old who reaches 27 in August. Is he too old to learn new skills?
Y-C Chang hitless is hitting 255. 4 years younger almost to the day his OPS is a couple points higher at 718, due to 8 walks, 9 doubles and 2 homeruns. Homers are well down in his AAA debut.

Bobby Bradley is having a solid May in his Akron reprise. Hit his 4th homer of the month and sixth of the season along with a single and a walk, For May:

Add the 23 year old RH to the BULLPEN WATCH He's finally having a solid season, with an eRA of 1.56 at Lynchburg, 25 strikeouts and only 4 walks in his 17 1/3 innings with Lynchburg. That gave him a K/IP of 13.0.

6-4 Australian has been around since 2012 and came into this season with a career ERA of over 5, and 140 walks and 275 hits in 269 innings, for a WHIP of 1.54 and 215 walks.
