so you have them at 77-54. Split the remainder and they're at 93-69 which swamps the field in the Central. I think they'll win a few more than that, let's make it 96-66.
I see that Joe got this part right on the money last season:
"I'll go with 97 assuming that the outfield will be at least equal to that of 2016. I think the outfield could be better with the return of Kipnis to second base, a full year of Abraham Almonte, and Yandy Diaz's move to the outfield."
This is a pretty positive situation we're in; the only debate is where between 90 and 100 or so wins should we expect.
Things always could go wrong but there's so much really solid talent here that it's unlikely.
